Join us at Science @ BARk!

September 9, 2016

Do you love your dog as much your other family members? Ever wondered whether your dog really understands you? Or how the evolution of modern dogs has been shaped by humans? Are you curious about whether therapy dogs actually influence human mental health? Or the intricacies of the dog microbiome?

Yale Science Diplomats present the Fall 2016 edition of Science @ BAR (Science @ BARk) featuring the relationship between humans and dogs. Come hear from four graduate students in genetics, immunobiology, and psychology to learn the science behind why dogs really are man and woman’s best friends. Join us at BAR pizza (245 Crown Street) on either September 13th or 19th. Arrive by 6:30pm to grab pizza, drinks, and a seat – the talks will begin promptly at 7:00pm.

Our event will feature canine-themed cocktails and giveaways from Snaggle Foot Dog Walks and Pet Care, Wash and Wear Superior Pet Grooming, the Canine Cognition Center at Yale, Sew Crafty Arts and Crafts Studio, and BAR. RSVP via Eventbrite and join our group on Facebook.
